How to play Tricky Levels

Tricky Levels is a short-level platformer where the level itself is out to get you. Your goal is simple: guide the grinning blob to the exit door. Getting there is the hard part, because almost nothing is what it seems.

Goal

Reach the door in each of the 24 levels, spread across four themed zones. Some doors are locked until you grab a key, some run away when you get close, and some are not doors at all.

Controls

Move left and right, and jump. Hold the jump button longer for a higher jump and tap it for a small hop. You can pause, mute and restart the level at any time.

Traps

Expect hidden spikes, floors that vanish under your feet, walls that stab, ceilings that fall, springs that launch you into danger and invisible blocks that stop your jump. Every trap is placed the same way every time, so each death teaches you something.

Tries and checkpoints

You respawn instantly at the start of the level. Each half of a zone gives you 30 tries; run out and you return to the last checkpoint flag. Finish all levels with as few deaths as possible to set a new record.
