How to play Lane Rider

Survive the traffic, pass close and fast, and cash out bigger every run.

Controls

Your vehicle accelerates on its own. Steer with ←/→ (or drag on the left half of a phone), hold ↑ for full throttle, ↓ to brake and SHIFT for turbo once the blue bar has charge.

Tips

Near-misses only count above 100 km/h, so ride fast and shave gaps instead of playing it safe. Chain them without scraping rails or cars to grow the multiplier, and save turbo for dense packs. Complete the timed objective first: it pays the biggest reward and unlocks the next goal instantly.

Features

  • Endless 4-lane highway with recycled chunks, dense dusk fog and low sun
  • Near-miss combo system: pass under 1.5 m above 100 km/h for multiplied cash
  • Turbo bar charged by near-misses and overtakes, with FOV speed rush
  • Race-the-clock objectives plus rotating side missions every run
  • 3 vehicles (Compact 120, Sport 8R, Superbike X) with engine and tire upgrades
  • Instant restart, slow-motion crash cam and auto-saved records

FAQ

Is Lane Rider free?

Yes, completely free in your browser with no download and no account.

How do near-misses work?

Pass a car with less than 1.5 m of side clearance while above 100 km/h. Each one adds to your combo, multiplies the cash and charges turbo.

Does my progress save?

Yes: cash, vehicles, upgrades, mission progress and records save automatically to your browser via local storage.

What happens when I crash?

A brief slow-motion crash plays, you get a run summary, and one tap (or R) restarts instantly.

About Lane Rider

Lane Rider is a low-poly 3D arcade driver built around one delicious risk: the closer you pass, the more you earn. Ride an endless sunset highway, thread between cars and trucks, and trigger near-miss combos that multiply your cash and charge the turbo bar. Every run has an active objective, from beat-the-clock distance races to near-miss and top-speed challenges, so there is always a next goal seconds away. Crashing costs nothing but pride: a slow-motion replay beat, a tidy stats screen, and you are riding again in under a second. The garage keeps three vehicles, each with its own handling and two five-level upgrade paths, and everything saves automatically in your browser. It is free, it needs no download and no account, and a full session fits in a coffee break.
