How to play Cue Kings

Cue Kings is a classic 8-ball billiards game with real physics. Pot your group of balls, then sink the 8-ball to win the rack.

Aim and shoot

Move the mouse or drag on the table to aim. The guide shows the first ball you will hit, where it goes and where the cue ball travels after contact. Drag the power bar down and release to shoot, or use the arrow keys and Enter for precise control.

Spin

Tap the small white ball to place the tip: top spin makes the cue ball follow through, back spin draws it back and side spin changes the angle off the cushions.

Rules

Break from behind the line. After the break the table is open: the first ball you pot decides whether you play solids or stripes. Always hit your own group first and make a ball reach a cushion. Fouls give your opponent ball in hand. Clear your group, then pot the 8 to win.

Modes and progress

Play the CPU on three difficulty levels, a friend on the same device, or practise with no time limit. Win to unlock six tables with tighter pockets, build win streaks and complete a new daily challenge every day.

KeyboardMouse: move to aim, click/drag to set the direction. Arrow Left/Right: fine aim (hold Shift for extra-fine). Arrow Up/Down: set power (Shift for 1% steps). Enter: shoot with the set power, or hold Space to charge and release to shoot. W/A/S/D: cue-ball spin, C: center spin. During ball in hand: arrows move the cue ball, Enter confirms. P or Esc: pause. M: mute.

TouchDrag on the table to aim and use the ◀ ▶ buttons for fine aim. Drag the power bar on the right downward and release to shoot (drag back up to cancel). Tap or drag the white ball widget to set spin, double-tap to center it. During ball in hand, drag the cue ball to a valid spot and tap Confirm.
