How to play Hole Arena

Hole Arena is a fast arcade game about a hole in the street that never stops eating. Swallow the city piece by piece, grow bigger than three rival holes and post the best score before the two-minute timer runs out.

Move and swallow

Your hole follows your mouse or finger; on a keyboard use the arrow keys or WASD. Anything smaller than the hole drops in: cones, benches and trees first, then cars and kiosks. Each object makes the hole a little wider.

Grow into the big stuff

As you grow, buses, trucks, houses, shops and finally apartment blocks and office towers fit inside. Big holes move faster in absolute terms but the city looks smaller, so plan a route through the busiest blocks.

Rivals, combos and stars

Three computer holes chase the same props. Stay away from holes bigger than yours and swallow smaller ones for a bonus. Chain quick swallows for combo points and reach the level targets to earn up to three stars.

Helpers and Endless mode

A hint arrow points to the richest nearby area and Rewind turns the clock back three seconds once per round. Endless mode has no timer: the city regrows and the run ends when a bigger hole swallows you.
