Gambit Arena is classic chess against a computer opponent, with a 15-level campaign and a quick-match mode.

Goal

Checkmate the enemy king: attack it so that it has no safe square and the attack cannot be blocked or captured.

Moving pieces

Tap a piece to see its legal moves, then tap a highlighted square, or drag it. Castling, en passant and promotion are all supported.

Stars and score

Each level has a par. Win within par for three stars. Captures earn points, while undos and hints cost a few. Every win earns an extra hint.

After the game

Open the game analysis to see the evaluation graph, the biggest swing of the game and your three best moves.
