Dig through procedural layers, manage your energy and mine coal, iron, gold and gems to upgrade your gear and beat your depth record.

Controls

Move and dig with WASD or the arrows. Esc opens the shop to sell ore and upgrade your pickaxe, backpack and lamp.

Energy & returns

Digging drains energy: return to the surface to sell and rest before you run dry. Every deeper layer pays better... and hits harder.

About Deepshaft

Deepshaft is a vertical mining arcade game: carve through soil, stone, hard rock and obsidian, manage a limited energy budget and surface before it runs out to sell your haul. Upgrade your pickaxe, backpack, battery and gem detector, dodge gas pockets and falling rocks, and push your depth record past 50m, 100m, 250m and beyond. Runs in your browser on desktop and mobile, in English and Spanish.
