How to play Words of Wonders

Words of Wonders is a relaxing word search puzzle with a twist: letters are stacked like wooden blocks, and every word you find disappears so the letters above fall into place and reveal new words. Sail from island to island across 10 themes.

Find the words

Each level shows a list of themed words. Drag across neighbouring letters in a straight line — horizontally, vertically or diagonally, forwards or backwards. You can also tap the first letter and then the last one.

Let the letters fall

When a word is found, its blocks pop and everything above drops down. Some words are split at first and only line up after other words disappear, so think about the order you clear them in.

Stars, hints and undo

Finish faster than the par time to earn three stars. Hints light up the start of a word, and undo brings back your last word if you get stuck. Three-star levels reward you with extra hints.

Journey across the islands

Complete all five levels of an island to unlock the next one: Travel, Food, Animals, Space, Cinema, Sports, Music, Body, City and Beach. Your stars and best scores are saved automatically.
