FAQ

Is Demonic Gauntlet: Isometric free?

Yes - it is a completely free browser game. No download, no account and no payment required.

How do I attack?

Just walk into an imp. The Templar strikes automatically when an enemy is in range, so positioning is everything.

Does my health regenerate?

No. Each run starts with 100 HP and imps chip it away on contact, so dodge well and finish waves quickly.

What are the boss imps?

Every third wave spawns a larger purple imp boss with more health, higher damage and extra soul drops.

How is my best score saved?

Your best soul harvest is stored locally in your browser, so you can always try to beat it on your next run.

Is this related to the original Demonic Gauntlet?

Yes - it is an isometric spin-off of the Demonic Gauntlet universe, showing the Templar hero of the descent in a 2.5D arena.

About Demonic Gauntlet: Isometric

Demonic Gauntlet: Isometric is a free dark-fantasy action game that reimagines the Demonic Gauntlet universe from a fresh 2.5D isometric perspective. You play as the last Templar of the descent, a battle-worn knight who strides across a grim floating arena at the gates of the First Circle of Hell. The imps of Limbo carry precious demon souls, and it is your sacred duty to strike them down and harvest every last one. The game builds on a hand-crafted isometric engine: diamond-shaped tiles are projected in true 2:1 perspective, every character is depth-sorted against the terrain, and a smooth follow-camera keeps the action centered at all times. Your Templar is rendered from a Blender-generated sprite pipeline, giving him a chunky, pre-rendered pixel-art look with a four-frame walk cycle as he patrols the stone platforms. Combat is immediate and readable: imps spawn at the edges of the arena in escalating waves and chase you relentlessly. Walk into them and your blade flashes automatically, cutting them down in one or two hits. Each fallen imp drops a glowing soul that drifts toward you with a satisfying magnet pull. Every third wave a hulking purple imp boss crashes the party, hitting harder and dropping a shower of bonus souls. You will need to keep moving: imps deal contact damage, your health bar does not regenerate, and the horde grows faster with every wave. The procedural sound effects, the escalating wave counter and the persistent best-score tracking make each run a short, intense hunt for a new personal record. How deep into the horde can you descend before your HP gives out? Demonic Gauntlet: Isometric runs directly in your browser with no download and no account, works with keyboard or touch controls, and is optimized to run smoothly even on modest hardware. Harvest souls, survive the waves, and prove the Templar's faith is stronger than the First Circle.
